Emma practises Five Element Acupuncture, an ancient system of medicine designed to restore and maintain optimum levels of health and wellbeing across the mind, body and spirit. She holds a Licentiate in Acupuncture and is a member of the British Acupuncture Association, the CtHA and AFEA.
The aim of Five Element Acupuncture is to identify and correct the root cause of imbalance in order to reinstate the body’s natural ability to self-heal. The focus is on treating the whole person rather than isolating specific symptoms, as it is only by strengthening an individual’s unique constitution that we can bring about lasting change. Five Element Acupuncture is a collaborative process which begins with an in-depth consultation exploring who you are and what you would like to get out of treatment. It is recommended that patients initially commit to a minimum of 4-6 weekly or fortnightly sessions in order to create a strong foundation for treatment.
