Health, happiness and movement
Core Clapton is our flagship wellness centre in East London, providing affordable osteopathy to the local community and beyond. We help people to live healthy and happy lives through movement and activities that encourage physical and mental wellbeing.
While leading a healthy lifestyle has become a choice for many people in London, the cost of accessing support is often prohibitive for many others. Core Clapton offers a space for the local community to access services usually reserved for those who can afford it.
Everyone has a right to a pain free life
Chronic pain prevents people from living their lives to the fullest. Each year 31 million work days are lost in the UK as a result of back pain. Injections and opioids are commonly offered as the answer, although prevention and pain management can offer better, safer, solutions.
At Core Clapton we give people the tools to keep their body healthy and at its full potential by providing a good understanding of how the body works and introducing habits to lead a healthier lifestyle.
Thanks to supporters like you, over the past two years, in the midst of the global opioid crisis, we have been able to increase access to osteopathy by providing nearly 5000 accessible treatments to underserved communities. Simultaneously we have began to compile a database of patient-reported outcome measures to help bring drug-free treatments for chronic pain into the mainstream.

Core Clapton is a hub of continuing professional development (CPD), offering a learning programme for a highly selective group of associate osteopaths, as well as a varied programme of CPD events for the wider healthcare community.
Peer support and osteopathic mentoring ensures that our outstanding associate osteopaths have the opportunity to keep growing in their osteopathic practice. Associates are encouraged to share and reflect on their clinical experiences with their peers. Mentors are available to support our osteopaths to increase the depth of their practical and theoretical knowledge.
