At 81, Michael is the living example of why growing old does not equal being weak and in pain.
When asked about his secret to staying fit and healthy he answers that you need to keep busy working, never exaggerate with food, exercise often and take care of your body with osteopathy.
Michael has a full-time commitment taking care of his allotment that he cycles to every single day. It's a lot of work, but the joy of growing his own food outweighs any hardship. Plus, his food is organic and keeps him healthy, he says. He also swims 3 times a week, and every 6 weeks he sees his osteopath for a general stretch and body check-up.
